What is Hot Dipped Galvanised Steel?

Hot Dipped Galvanised Steel is steel coated with a layer of zinc.  Steel sheets are immersed in a bath of molten zinc at a temperature of around 450 °C to form a plated layer.  

What are the Advantages of Hot Dipped Galvanised Steel?

Galvanised steel is a popular option for creating a corrosion resistance finish that is less costly than stainless steel.  Galvanising is also a more environmentally friendy option for preventing steel from corroding.
