Part-Time Business Development Manager / Outside Sales Representative
Location: Home Counties & South East England
Working Days: 2–3 days per week (Tuesday–Wednesday / Thursday) – flexible

About the Role
Cutler & Woolf is seeking an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager / Outside Sales Representative to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a client-facing role focused on expanding our client base and strengthening existing relationships within the sheet metal fabrication and metalwork sector. You will be primarily covering the Home Counties and the South East of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and cold calling.
- Leverage your existing network and industry contacts to open new doors and support business growth.
- Visit current and prospective clients to understand their requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Represent the company professionally and confidently at all times.
Requirements
- Over 25 years of age (due to insurance requirements)
- Proven sales experience with a record of success (experience in the metalwork or fabrication industry is advantageous but not essential – full training will be provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to manage time effectively and travel across the region as needed.
- Clean driving licence
